Gene Haas Centers are state-of-the-art, advanced manufacturing labs established at top-level learning institutions around the world to provide the best CNC training and advanced manufacturing education possible, with the goal of increasing the supply of highly skilled graduates available to meet the needs of local and regional industry.
In 2014 the Gene Haas Foundation announced a new grant program for the top CNC training facilities in North American. In 2018 this initiative expanded to Europe. This program is an endorsement of the best CNC training programs for established, proven schools who are training highly qualified manufacturing professionals who need more capacity because of a growing need for their programs students as well as being a leader in developing the manufacturing pipeline for future manufacturing technology students,
In exchange for the naming of the building or lab, the Gene Haas Foundation grants a cash award to assist the program in this expansion.
