Gene Haas Centers are state-of-the-art, advanced manufacturing labs established at top-level learning institutions around the world to provide the best CNC training and advanced manufacturing education possible, with the goal of increasing the supply of highly skilled graduates available to meet the needs of local and regional industry.
In 2014, the Gene Haas Foundation established a new partnership program with the most dynamic CNC training programs around the world for the purpose of assisting schools with building or augmenting strong manufacturing-skills training programs in exchange for naming rights attached to those programs. Candidate schools will be judged on a variety of factors including the quality of educational programming, number of students impacted, school's role in the educational pipeline, growth opportunities, teacher skills, capabilities of facilities/equipment, industry/community support, budget. and sustainability. There have been 75 programs selected to date.
