The primary purpose of the Gene Haas Foundation is to provide scholarship funding . This Gene Haas Scholarship is for post-secondary programs that teach CNC Machine Technology and Engineering programs that incorporate CNC technology . Scholarship funds are for tuition, books, and supplies the student is required to provide such as personal tooling. Grants will be accepted all year and the current year grants will be closed each year on June 30. Also eligible are NIMS credentials and costs to compete in SkillsUSA. Competition teams whose projects are created on CNC machines such as SAE may apply here for sponsorship. The total allotted fund in this grant category will be dispersed to eligible programs over the following 60 days after grant closes.
ALL SCHOOLS PLEASE fill out the questionnaire. If you are a public school a grant check can be sent directly to your school. Otherwise scholarship checks must be written to your school’s foundation.

Please note we cannot provide scholarships directly to individuals and foundation monies cannot be used to purchase machines per federal regulations as the Gene Haas Foundation is wholly funded by Mr. Gene Haas, founder and owner of Haas Automation.
